As a disability organisation led by disabled people we recognise the importance of disabled people being involved in the decisions that will affect them and we are extremely active in supporting and encouraging disabled people to be involved in consultation both locally and nationally as well as keeping people well informed of the many changes that could impact on their lives.

It’s open! The new Hospital opened it’s doors in November 2011.  This new modern hospital contains, single en suite rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, a dedicated stroke unit and a GP out-of-hours service. Disability CAN DO and the Disability Forum, have been asked to feedback comments on the new hospital.
 
“It’s a nice thought to have your own space, but I’m not sure if it could get quite lonely”.   Mrs Price, Deri.

OVERVIEW

The aim of this consultation is to get views on whether the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is involving and engaging with patients, public and communities in the best way. Through the Trusts Partners in Healthcare Team, we involve patients, the public and different groups of people in our work. This consultation will identify any areas which you think we can improve on. The Action Plans that are included in the Strategy include the main areas that we will be focussing on over the next couple of years.
