About Us

The Disability Can Do Organisation was formed as a result of consultation in Caerphilly County Borough demonstrating an overwhelming perceived need for easily accessible information services for both adults with a disability and/or a sensory impairment, and their carers.
Our mission and overall aim is to provide this client group, with a voice in their local community and beyond; to increase independence and self-confidence, improve the availability of information and advice, improve the lives of carers, and increase awareness and understanding amongst the wider population of the constraints that society currently imposes on people.

Joined up thinking-joint provisions of services for adults with a disability and/or a sensory impairment AND their carers.

Our client group do not want to be segregated from society and our organisation with our CAN DO approach want to provide services that will enable people to lead fully inclusive lives that they deserve.
We truly believe we have what it takes to succeed in our aims and with a very busy and exciting few years ahead we know we will achieve. With our strong staff team and dedicated board of Trustees and volunteers we plan to build upon our reputation across the Borough.
